The most reusable skill on a manufacturing floor is turning “it doesn’t work” into a sequence of yes/no questions.

Know what to trace.
Power gives it energy. Inputs tell it what is happening. The controller decides. Outputs make something happen. Networks move data. Safety can override everything to reach a safe state.
